A SmartValve sits underneath the plant (beside in Auto Pak kits) and regulates the flow of nutrient solution from the reservoir to the plants roots in a controlled manner dictated by the plants themselves. No wonder its award wining!This means besides making general checks on the plants well being, the grower need only check PH, EC levels & water levels every week or so for strong healthy plants to develop, (all kits here can feed plants anywhere from 4 weeks to 6 months without being topped up).
